Sandiaga's Reaction When Knowing Dahnil was Called by the Police for the Case of the Tent Fund

Rakyat Digital. Vice President Sandiaga Uno hopes that law in Indonesia will be fair. This was conveyed when responding to news of the summoning of the police against Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak in the case of alleged irregularities in the camp and the youth Islamic appeals in 2017.

"We all pray to walk according to the existing principles and legal corridors," said Sandiaga answering reporters' questions on the sidelines of his visit to Malang's Big Market on Friday (11/23/2018).

Sandiaga ensured, his party would also respect and follow the legal process which was now faced by the General Chairperson of the Muhammadiyah Youth Leadership (PP).

"We always follow the legal process, and all citizens are so. Uphold the legal process and we expect all to be fair," hoped Sandiaga.

Sandiaga also asked for the law to present a sense of justice in the community, not even selectively in handling a case.

"It is very necessary to give and show a sense of justice in the community. Bring legal certainty, do not be sharp downward blunt up," he said.

The former Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta handed over this matter to Dahnil who was considered a friend and prospective future leader.

"I leave it to Dahnil, my best friend. The potential of young people and future leaders. So we pray that everything goes according to the principles and corridors of the law," he added.

However, when asked whether the summoning of Dahnil interfered with the campaign, Sandiaga stressed that there were still a large number of supporters behind him who would replace Dahnil when it was time for the investigation.

"We have prepared, there are hundreds. There are doctors Gamal and others. If later Dahnil more time is taken for examination," he concluded.
