Participating in Helping the Nation's Economic Welfare, BJB Realizes an Intimate Program

Buletin Nasioanal. The West Java Provincial Government seeks to mobilize the economic welfare of the community. To realize this, BJb Bank responded by realizing the BJB Mesra (Prosperous Economic Community).

This intimate BJB will be launched on Tuesday (11/27) in Leuwiliang, Bogor Regency.

Head of the West Java Province Small Business Cooperative Office, Dudi Sudradjat Abdurachim, said that the relationship between Mesra Credit was not separated from the mirror in developed countries. Where many are inhabited by entrepreneurs.

"In us (Indonesia) the latest data is only 3.01. Ideally, if we can, 4 percent of entrepreneurs can solve the problem related to unemployment," said Dudi in West Java's Got Information (Japri) in Gedung Sate, Bandung, Friday (11/23 )

This intimate credit will be operationalized in worship houses, including mosques and churches. He said, with the potential for mosques that are quite large in West Java, they can maximize economic improvement efforts in addition to just social worship.

"The future business trend is socio-economic, there are social goals but there are also economic businesses," he said.

He did not deny that moneylenders were one of the problems of entrepreneurs. Thus, Dudi hopes Credit Mesra can be the solution.

"Fighting against the huge giant power must be with the power of the community. Social capital in the mosque is strong enough. I believe that we can help to strengthen the model," he said.

The reason for mengoprasionalkan at the house of worship, he pointed out, with Indonesia as a country with the majority Muslim religion, it can be fully utilized. "There are 62 mosques that should be utilized for worship activities. Actually there are already good ones, just to add more (which is good)," he added.

Meanwhile, the leader of the Bjb MSME Credit Division Dedi Mulyadi conveyed that for the mechanism, groups of 5 to 10 people would be formed in each place of worship. Both those who already have a business and those who haven't. However, the conditions must be a recommendation from the worship house administrator.

"We were trained first for financial or management problems. Then it was in the form of a credit process. Before the implementation of credit," Dedi said.

For credit ceilings, namely Rp. 500 thousand to Rp. 5 million per person, which uses a joint responsibility system. In addition, it is free of collateral and without interest, with a period of one year.

"Only the administration is initially 8% percent for 6 months and 9.5% for 12 months, so the monthly installments are only the principal, unlike banking or other bank businesses," he explained.
